Is eating a high fat diet unhealthy when I’m in good shape?

I like eating high fat food as it is very calorie dense, and I exercise a lot making quick easy, tasting and filling food very practical. Although is this unhealthy for me even though it gets burned off? My diet is almost zero-cholesterol and I am fairly thin and very fit. (definitely not thin when I don’t exercise.) Also I eat healthy fats sometimes and other times not.

1) Exercise


Don’t be too lazy but you need to exercise a little bit because those stomach fat will not lose by itself. If you don’t feel like to jog, you can even walk half a mile around your neighborhood. Don’t forget to do some basic ab crunches or sit-ups since this exercise in totally concentrated on your stomach.


2) Drinking Water


Drink plenty of water every day. Water is essential for your body needs. It does not only quenching your thirst but it can also helps in cleansing your body from within. The digestion of your stomach will increase dramatically and you will feel less hungry in between meals. Don’t simply drink any water though, plain water is the best and do your best to avoid drinks like tea, coffee or wine.


3) Proper Diet


You need to eat lots of healthy food. Food that contains vitamins and minerals is always the best. Eat less food but make sure the food you take will give your body the energy needed. In other words, eat sufficient amount of food dedicated for your current body weight, age and size of body.


4) Change Your Routine


Most people have a bad habit after eating. They will quickly sit or lie down after a heavy meal. Some might straight away go to bed. This can only make you look even fatter day by day. Try to stay active after a heavy meal so that your body have the ability to burn or digest the food you have taken so it will not turn into fat.


5) Understand Your Calorie Intake Per Day


Actually, most people do not know what is the suitable amount of calorie they need to take. A bodybuilder might need a lot of calorie due to his heavy exercise and training. While an office worker may need less calorie because he is not using much of his body. You need to understand what is it that you do everyday to accommodate your calorie needs.
